Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 recently received a new patch that improved certain aspects of the game’s multiplayer and Zombies modes, making gameplay more smooth and stable. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has received multiple updates since its launch, and as new seasons and more content are added to the game, corrective patches will ensure that the release remains in its best condition. As a live-service title, there’s a huge list of content slated for future updates, and hopefully recent patches can prevent or worsen future issues. However, the Black Ops 6 development team has many plans for the game and it may take time to ensure that planned fixes don’t make existing problems worse.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has received a wide range of changes. Players are now enjoying the Christmas 2024 event after completing The Hit List and unlocking a special weapon. The 2024 CODMAS update for Black Ops 6 brings a number of rewards, allowing players to unlock the Maelstrom shotgun after completing enough tasks. Along with the big holiday update, there are also a number of general improvements made to the game.
The new Friday, December 6 patch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 brings a number of improvements to the game’s Multiplayer and Zombies modes aimed at removing bugs and improving the overall player experience. For weapons, the update resolves a long-running issue in Multiplayer where players’ attachments were incorrectly applied to Weapon Blueprints. While a number of improvements have been made to improve the player experience, some players also want a fix for a bug that causes players to appear glowing green in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Multiplayer mode.
In addition, an issue has been fixed where players who tried to load the multiplayer training course would accidentally load into the Zombies training course. Also, the overall stability of the game has been improved. An issue has been fixed in Zombies mode where Morse code beeps in the Citadelle des Morts would keep ringing for a long time for players. More game fixes are likely to be implemented soon.
Black Ops 6’s playlists have been updated, adding Hideout to the game’s Control map pool and removing Nuketown, replacing Nuketown Holiday with 10v10 Moshpit and Hardcore 10v10 Moshpit. These changes seem focused on adding general variety to Black Ops 6’s multiplayer experience. While there are many players who may want certain playlists permanently, the changing catalog of maps and modes should ensure that gameplay never gets too monotonous in any one mode.
